Do half-hour credits count?
Yes. ASHA accepts professional development in steps as small as 15 minutes, then in quarter hours after that. A course worth 0.5 hour adds 0.5 hour toward your 30, or 0.05 ASHA CEU. ASHA on PDHs.
The 0.5 hour is the credit the provider gives. Some of these take longer to finish, so check the course page for the time.
A course counts on the day you finish it, not the day you start. So finish by Dec 31 if your interval ends this year.
You decide whether a topic fits your practice. ASHA says you don't need its approval first.

Yes. The smallest amount ASHA accepts is 15 minutes, then quarter hours after that. 0.5 hour is 0.05 ASHA CEU.
How many of these make 1 ASHA CEU?
1.0 ASHA CEU is 10 hours of credit. Each course here gives 0.5 hour of credit, so it takes 20 of them.
When does a short course count?
On the day you finish it. ASHA counts an activity by its completion date, not its start date.
