The board accepts courses sponsored by ASHA, NCSHLA, or the NC Department of Public Instruction, and hours ASHA recognizes for certification maintenance.
You only send documentation if you're audited. The board's FAQ says to keep records for five years.
Your license renews every year on its issue date, with a 30-day grace period. The board sets no limit on online CE right now.
North Carolina accepts courses from ASHA-approved providers, so the free courses below can count, within the limits above.
