The other 10 can be related topics like practice management, supervision and ethics.
Human trafficking training is not required in Ohio. Up to 1 hour of a board-approved human trafficking course can count toward the 20.
The current biennium counts hours from Jan 1, 2025 to Dec 31, 2026. Licenses expire Dec 31, 2026, and the renewal window runs Oct 2 to Dec 31, 2026.
No CE is needed for your first renewal, and hours don't carry over.
Activities approved by an ASHA-approved CE provider are accepted. Keep proof for four years.
Ohio accepts courses from ASHA-approved providers, so the free courses below can count, within the limits above.
