SLP CE requirements by state
SLP Credits has license CE rules for 16 states, read on each state board's site. 10 accept courses from ASHA-approved providers within their limits, and 6 have their own provider rules. ASHA's 30 hours every 3 years is a separate requirement.
Your state license and your ASHA CCC each have their own CE rules. Here are the license rules for the 16 states we have checked so far, side by side. Each one links to the full state page and free courses.

If your state isn't here yet
We add a state once we have read its rules on the board's own site. Until yours is here, open your state board's continuing education page and check which providers it accepts before you count a course.
The free course list works for any state. Every row shows the price and the date we checked it.
ASHA is separate
Your license and your ASHA CCC have separate rules and separate dates. ASHA wants 30 hours every 3 years. Here's how ASHA maintenance works.

Questions
Do ASHA CEUs count toward my state license?
In 10 of the 16 states we have checked, courses from ASHA-approved providers can count, within that state's limits. The other 6 have their own provider rules, so confirm a course is accepted before you count it. Your state page has the details.
Does my license renew on the same dates as my ASHA interval?
Not always. Each state sets its own renewal dates, and they may not line up with your 3-year ASHA interval. Track the two separately.
My state isn't listed. What should I do?
Check your state board's continuing education page for hours and accepted providers. The free course list on SLP Credits works for any state, but your board decides what counts.
